What I love the most about Villa del Palmar is its remoteness and serene environment. Your senses get the opportunity to rest. Although there are plenty of activities to take part in such as boating, fishing, scuba diving, mountain climbing, trips to the town, and soon golfing, with the addition of Danzante Golf Course opening February 2016; there is no pressure to do anything except relax as the staff caters to your every need. As a frequent traveler I enjoy both ends of the spectrum from overcrowded cities to spiritual retreats where we turn off our phones and sit in silence.
Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto pulls each of its guest away from their high impact lives and creates a spiritual realm with modern lodging. I opted to try meditation through yoga, reflection through mountain climbing, relaxation at their award winning Sabila Spa, and experiencing a spiritual awakening while watching the sun rise on their private beach through the guidance of their resident shaman. With rates as low as $119 per night (YRB Discount Code: FAMNOV15) through April 2016 in no time I booked, boarded, and was on my way.
