Chinese New Year is a time when many Chinese and Chinese-American families come together for an annual feast to usher in wealth, happiness and good fortune.
Last night, Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège created a modern take on a Chinese New Year dinner hosted by Co-Founder/Designer Public School Dao Yi Chow & his wife Canis Chow, celebrating this occasion by honoring the culture and heritage that continues to inspire today’s generation.
The dinner provided a moment for all to reflect and connect to the inspirations from the past and embrace the harmony and balance that comes with this successful new year ahead.
Guests including Maxwell Osborne (Co-Founder/Designer Public School), Prabal Gurung, (Fashion Designer), Liu Wen (Top Model), Richard Chai (Fashion Designer), Kate Lanphear, Mark Alary (Jewelry Designer), Cong He (Model), Sissi Hou (model) Karen Wong (Deputy Director, New Museum), Daniel Arsham (Contemporary Artist), Jose Parla (artist) and Shaun White (athlete) enjoyed a multi-course meal, including Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège glazed ribs.
The custom bar cart trolling the room featured the specialty cocktail of the evening, The Red Jubilee and all of the tables were adorned with custom made Monkey Masks designed by Max Steiner.
