On the eve of the death of the late, great Notorious BIG's anniversary, Catfish Billy came to Brooklyn Bowl to rock the stage. Lacking the decorum of a traditional rap artist, Yela jumped in the crowd and raged with Brooklynites. Ripping mostly hooks and verses instead of full songs, Yela came through the spot killed his set before disappearing into the night in true Biggie fashion. Video and full review after the Cut!

G-shock, Pepsi and Halliburton have unveiled their “Time Traveler Pack” collaboration. The threesome has teamed up to bring us a limited edition G-Shock DW-6900 and an extra sexy, sleek rolling luggage set in the signature Pepsi dark blue colorway. The three piece set is made of polycarbonate and adorned with wonderful messages such as “Joy,” “Good” and “Optimism.” The watch comes in an aluminum and wears the the new pepsi logo on the band. The project is only available to a number of highly selected outlets with a bigger release set in the near future.

Karen Elson, laces the acoustic version of The Ghost Who Walks with a lush melodic overture that begs the question, when can we expect more? Fret not, Elson will be preforming at both the Press Here showcase in Austin as well as the Third Man pop-up shop during South By Southwest (March, 20th). If you can't make it down to Austin to check her out, she will be preforming at Le Poisson Rouge in Greenwich Village, March 22nd.

The headphones are made of laser sintered polyamide and are fully customizable with the names of the listener's favorite bands and artists all around. Although it looks bulky and not so lightweight, we'd rather walk around with these than your favorite producer's favorite headphones (Yes, we're still mad about Detox). The internet is a big, scary place filled with lots of free music, so we figured we'd point you in the direction of some good stuff. The Postelles, a quartet hailing from NYC, just dropped their new White Night EP, featuring three new songs (“White Night,” “Sleep On The Dance Floor” and “Looking Glass”) as well as a remix of their track “Sleep On The Dance Floor” done by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor. The group is about to head out on the road with Hockey for a U.S. tour, and their debut album should be out this summer, but in the meantime, check out the widget below and click over to their site to download the track “White Night” for gratis.

DJ Neil Armstrong has been tearing down mixtapes and blazing turntables in the NY scene for years. Today, he is releasing his free mixtape DNA Of The Blueprint, an ode to the man who gave him the chance of a lifetime by making him his tour DJ a couple of years back. 35 tracks deep, the tape runs through remixes and samples of Jay's Blue Print collection. The mixtape is available for download at Armstrong's newly launched site.

After only a week of installation, Faile and Bast have unveiled their “Faile Bast Deluxx FLUXX” Arcade-themed exhibition in London. The pair of street artists turned a whole floor of the Lazarides Rathbone Place Gallery into an interactive arcade style exhibition complete with old-school cabinets, neon lighting and a token machine to exchange cash for game-play.
