Kia unveiled their new Electric Hybrid concept car at the Chicago Auto Show. Learning from the mistakes of other concept cars, Kia made the Ray more aerodynamic by giving it a longer tail and lower roof to boost range and narrower tires. Kia claims the car can reach a driving distance of more than 50 miles on its electric motor, has a fuel economy rating or more than 202 miles per gallon and a total of 746 miles. “It is important to imagine what people will want in the future

from a green perspective early in the design process, because people want to reduce their carbon footprint without driving carbon copies,” said Peter Schreyer, chief design officer, Kia Motors Corporation. More images after the jump.
