Being the Bawse can come at a high price in this recession. Unfortunately for Rick Ross, platinum plaques can’t be exchanged for a hood pass so Mr. Trilla has spent the last nine months since the release of Deeper Than Rap (Def Jam) trying to keep his gangsta general credentials in check. With the latest shots coming from Freddie Gibbs, YRB breaksdown the Boss's position and asks, “Is Mufasa losing control of his kingdom?” We'll let you do the math.

5) CRUSHIN FEELIN’S

The youngster from Gary Indiana is known to “Touchdown and talk more shit than Ochocinco”, but in his newest barrage to hit the blogosphere, Gangsta Gibbs keeps respect in check for Yeezy and Wayne and makes sure to throw two fingers up for Ross.

4) THE CHAMP IS HERE

Floyd Mayweather took fire at Ricky after the Bawse tried to come at the Champ's true worth under the light. “ If I need someone arrested I’ll call [Ricky]”, shouted the the Champ. The beef seems to have been squashed but it was undoubtedly another jab at Rick Ross’s credibility as a rapper whom the real Noriega owes a hundred favors.

3) BABY MAMA DRAMA

The Boss's bidness got leaked when his old biddy wanted to turn a quick dime for her nickle in the spotlight by giving Pimpin' Curly an exclusive to a love video she made during her call girl days. The woman who birthed the heir to the Boss's fortune spoke on the situation and gave the internet enough ammunition to bring the castle down.

2) OFFICER RICKY

Pictures surfaced of a young Officer Ricky on the funny side of the law. After going back and forth, Ross finally appeared on the cover of  XXL sporting knock off Louis V'S while trying to clear the air about the controversy. The company took the extra step of sending the magazine a letter stating that Ross’s shades were not legit Louis V’s.

1) THIS IS 50

Beefing with Fifty Cent is as normal in Hip-Hop as a thirteen-year-old girl yelling, “I hate you! Britney's parent's are so much cooler! I wish you would just cheat on Dad already you're always talking about it!”, or something along those lines. What isn’t normal is for Ross to barely respond to a vicious barrage of videos, diss-tracks, and interviews that systematically tore his street cred to bits. Don't get us wrong, Mafia Music went Hard, but the real Rick Ross would have slapped pimpin curly and challenged him to a duel. Officer Ricky on the other hand, tried to divert attention from the beef and focus on his swagger, but his persona obviously has limits and in this case there was a clear conflict of interest between the gun-tooting hustler and the guy who used to get paid as a CO.With album sales for Deeper Than Rap falling well below expectation, and T-Pain hooks getting played out like the jerry curl, we beg the question, has the Boss been replaced?
