If you were at Lucky Strike on last week, chances are you did a lot more than bowl your usual wack game. YRB Magazine and Brandsway Creative shacked up at the midtown bowling lounge to showcase five new musical acts for  the battle of the bands. Five bands including The Arhams, Adrienne Mack-Davis, The August Infinity, Lip Tease, and the Garden Variety rocked their hearts out as a packed house enjoyed a great night of music, drinks and bowling fun. More flicks after the cut!

Gucci released the trailer for their short film/ad to promote their new Gucci Guilty fragrance. The commercial is directed by comic artist/director Frank Miller (Sin City), features music from the Friendly Fires and stars Evan Rachel Wood and Chris Evans. This will be Miller's first directing gig since The Spirit and will premiere during the MTV Video Music Awards airing on September 12th.

“A white sports car screeches across a dystopian cityscape – a beautiful blonde at the wheel. Her blazing tires screech to a halt, and she steps out to survey her hunting ground. Savoring the night air she remembers: a night, a man, her choice… a perfume.”

After plenty of anticipation, the day to debut Mac Miller's mixtape K.I.D.S. (Kickin' Incredibly Dope Shit) has arrived.  Recruiting a bare minimum number of features, the 18 yr old Pittsburgh spitta set out to bring his mic skills to the forefront on this project and did exactly that.  With a collection of both lyrically and sonicly strong tracks, one could make the argument that Mac attack's with the strongest tape of the summer.  The recent Rostrum Records label mate to fellow steel city artist Wiz Khalifa was heavily influenced by the 90's cult film by the same name as his new release.  He even goes as far as using several sound clips from the movie to enrich the genuine affinity he has for it's story. With all that being said, enjoy K.I.D.S. 'cause after all,  when it comes to hip-hop we just some mufuggin kiiids!   So download it (Here) already. Track list after the jump.
