A culprit of visually appealing crimes, Brooklyn's Faile has brought an artistic vision across the Atlantic to Lisbon, Portugal.  As part of the city's Festival Arte 10, Faile built and curated the look of this latest project “Temple” on one of Lisbon's busiest city blocks.  Straying from typical street art protocol, the piece constructed (which resembles a cathedral in ruins) rose from scratch rather than just being painted on previously erected walls.  This intriguing concept proves a worthy house of worship for graffiti, yet it stands able to blend itself inconspicuously into the clean ambiance of its surrounding area.  The very fact that “Temple” stakes root at the center of a city square is at the core of the artist's intention and how it will be received by those who frequent the graffiti church.  The notion that passers by will engage this standing body of art on their own terms is what makes all the difference in it's perception.  Faile's attention to the smallest of details provides for a splendor of accents to be appreciated including arches and stain glass windows.
While it's highly unlikely that the Pope will be offering any graffiti artists contracts to redecorate The Vatican anytime soon, this work of art shows that the hands of those that spray can paint a path that connects to those that pray.  An abundance of images illustrating Faile's pristine “Temple” follow below the jump.

Here's a hot new pair of kicks for chicks.  These latest Nike Air Max 1's come in a uniqely appealing solar red/white/seaweed brown color scheme.  Their classic style is complimented by a gum sole intertwined with the white midsole, making for a nice bottom, no Esther Baxter needed.  The combo of mesh and soft material on the shoe's upper profile provides for a pinch of abstract that suits these puppies well.  Although technically a women's release, expect to find these stocked in sizes that'll be amicable to man feet, cause real men wear pink…or in this case solar red.  Kick flicks after the jump.
