 The story of Leonidas and his loyal 300 Spartans who fought off the Persian war machine will now be penned into a prequel entitled Xerxes. The mastermind behind epic comics like Sin City, Batman, and Heavy Metal, Frank Miller will bleed ink onto storyboards for the new follow up comic which is set ten years before the Persians and Spartans met face to face at the Hot Gates. The Battle of Marathon, which was the first Persian invasion on Greece, will be the focus of Xerxes. Director Zack Snyder has already signed on to direct the feature film. In conjunction with the re-release of 300 3D in theaters Xerxes will expand the already caked out franchise, which will most certainly keep the fellas aggressive and the ladies saying, “Why my man don’t look like that?!”

In the latest installment of 55DSL's 10.55 series, photographers and painters of the graphic design persuasion were asked to spill creativity onto cotton. Artists like Rony Alwin, Will Ainley and Trevis Millard all contributed to the collection, which will be available at select Diesel retailers  for the spring time.
