Activision ups the ante with another full band game.  It’s even more than full band it’s got an 8 player battle of the bands mode that is guaranteed to turn anyone into a fierce musical competitor. A new guitar controller (how many of these things do I need in my living room?) and microphone are joined by an authentic electronic drum kit with three drum pads, two raised cymbals and a bass kick pedal.  The game boasts a huge selection of classic and modern rock and a huge downloadable library even on the Wii.

Yakuza 2
Sega

Once again you can dive into the seedy underbelly of Tokyo and Osaka.  Play as Kazuma Kiryu, the hero from the original Yakuza, and experience the violent Japanese underworld where respect and honor are of the utmost importance.  Fight with rival gangs, police, and the Korean mafia in an endless series of conflicts and plot twists (story by Seishu Hase) that are sure to keep you on your toes.  You can now string together a combination of moves in multiple directions using the right thumbstick and there are even more context sensitive Heat moves like throwing foes off a balcony.
